HAPPINESS THROUGH BALANCE

Finding happiness and satisfaction in your life can be a journey. Every individual is different and may respond to different approaches to coaching. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Michigan and board certified in cognitive behavioral therapy by the American Board of Professional Psychology. My goal is to also bring this knowledge base in clinical psychology to help you reach your potential to reach healthy happiness.

* Please note that Happy Healthy Rested is a health coaching program and does not take the place of your mental health professional.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. My health coaching highlights the importance of not only what is on your plate, but “primary foods™” as well, which refers to other factors in your life like relationship and work that can influence food choices. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

THE QUEST FOR REST

When life gets busy, sleep is often sacrificed. In some cases, once people have the opportunity to sleep, they find it difficult to fall or stay asleep. I will help you on your quest for rest. I am board certified in sleep disorders medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and certified in behavioral sleep medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. I have approximately 15 years of experience in both sleep treatment and sleep research. I have published several peer reviewed articles on the topic areas of insomnia and mental health.

Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
